Privacy Policy

Sky Locker Hub ("we", "us", "our") provides a subscription platform that lets locker rental businesses ("Subscribers", "you") manage lockers, renters, billing, and communications. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to two groups differently:

  • Subscribers — businesses that register an account to manage their lockers.
  • Renters — the Subscriber's own customers, whose information a Subscriber enters into the platform to manage a locker rental. Subscribers are the data controller for their renters' information; we process it on the Subscriber's behalf as described below.
2. Information We Collect

Account information (Subscribers). Name, surname, email address, company name, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) when you register.

Locker and renter information (entered by Subscribers). Locker code, location, size, and rent price; and, where a Subscriber chooses to record them, a renter's name, email, phone number, mailing address, rental start/end dates, and an electronic signature image captured when a rental agreement is signed.

Billing information. Subscription plan, billing cycle, status, and payment history. Payments are processed by PayPal — we do not collect or store your card or bank details. We retain PayPal-issued subscription and transaction identifiers, and the amount/status of each transaction, in order to reconcile your billing.

Support communications. The subject, category, and message content of any support ticket you submit to us, and our replies.

Usage and log data. We automatically log basic diagnostic information when an error occurs (timestamp, request path, exception details) to help us fix problems. This may include your account identifier if you were signed in at the time.

Cookies and local storage. We use an authentication cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Information
  • To provide, operate, and maintain the platform (locker management, renter self-service portal, rental agreements, receipts).
  • To process and manage subscription billing through PayPal.
  • To send transactional emails and, if configured, SMS — account confirmation, password resets, rental expiration reminders, renewal requests, owner digests, and receipts.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To detect, investigate, and fix technical problems.
  • To comply with legal obligations.
4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following categories of service providers, only as needed for them to perform their function for us:

  • PayPal — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Email delivery provider (SMTP-based, e.g. Brevo or another provider you configure) — sending account, billing, and rental-related emails.
  • SMS provider (e.g. Twilio or Vonage, if enabled) — sending text message notifications, if a Subscriber turns this on.
  • Hosting provider — the infrastructure that runs the application and database.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and renter information for as long as the related Subscriber account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and billing-recordkeeping obligations. Subscribers can delete individual lockers/renters at any time (subject to the "cannot delete an occupied locker" safeguard in the app); deleting a locker removes its associated renter details and rental agreement records.

6. Data Security

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Access to another Subscriber's lockers or renter data is blocked at the account level — each Subscriber can only see their own data. Administrative access to platform-wide settings is restricted to authorized administrators. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

7. Your Choices and Rights
  • You can review and update your account details, and change your password, from within the app.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights (for example, under GDPR or CCPA) to data portability or to object to certain processing.
8. Renters' Information

If you are a renter whose information was entered into the platform by a locker business you rent from, that business (the Subscriber) controls your data and is the right first point of contact for access or deletion requests. We process that information on their behalf and in accordance with their instructions.

9. Children's Privacy

Sky Locker Hub is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated to Subscribers where required by law.
